Shade Or Nah?: Jay Z Calls Out Drake In 'We Made It' Remix

Class is in session, and Drake is you young rappers are about to get schooled!

Recently New Orleans rapper and Roc Nations own, Jay Electronica linked up with head honcho Jay Z to lay a remix down to the catchy track "We Made It."

In the song, Jay Electronica addresses his fans and thanks them for their loyal support, while Hovi Hov takes time to respond to comments Drake made about him during a Rolling Stone interview, regarding his current interest in art.

"Sorry Mrs./Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk. Silly me rapping about ish that I really bought. While these rappers rap about guns they ain't shot and a bunch of other silly ish that they ain't got. I'm on my Lupita N'yongo, stuntin' on stage after 12 years a slave."

Wellll alrighty then. I think that issue's been resolved.

Oh, and for those wondering what Drake's comments were. Here ya go: "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny."

Take a listen to the track below, and while at it, can someone tell me if Jay addressed Drizzy as a Mr. or Mrs.?

ATL Housewives Porsha Williams Releases New Track "Flatline" (Audio Inside)

porsha williams flatline

Somebody call the paramedics, because Porsha has flatlined!

Last night, while all of you were probably fast asleep, or getting ready for the start of your work week, RHOA starlet Porsha Williams, was busy gearing up for the release of her new song titled, "Flatline."

At midnight the starlet debuted the new track on iTunes, and also gave fans a sneak peak of what was to come on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live an hour before its launch.

The song, produced by Chris "Traxx" Rogers, captures Porsha's thoughts on how she feels about her public and embarrassing split with ex-hubby Kordell Stewart.

"...and I wonder if we were DOA to start, but I never thought we were better off apart. You took the life out of me,  my heart is broken and flatline."

A-List fun fact: According to Porsha's Instagram page "Flatline" debuted at #37 on the iTunes R&B and Soul top 100 chart two hours after its release. By this morning, the song was at #10.

Can the producers and writers of this track say, cha-ching?

Take a listen below.

Hmm, I kinda have mixed feelings about this song, but great job for getting out there and trying something you love! I will say, from a vocal standpoint, that it is tons better than Kim Zolciak's "Tardy For The Party." What do you guys think? A hit or a miss?

Jennifer Hudson: So Long Weight Watchers!

Now that the weight is off, the watch is over folks!...

After four years of being the face for mega slim down brand, Weight Watchers, Jennifer Hudson has finally decided to say farewell.

In a statement released Friday to E news, Jennifer said, "My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me. I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music."

Following the singer's statement, Weight Watchers released their own saying, "After four years of a successful and rewarding partnership, Weight Watchers and Jennifer Hudson are ending our official partnership. Though we are confident Jennifer will remain a Lifetime member..."

Rumors of a troubled partnership between the dream girl and weight loss company circulated Friday after Jennifer posted a now deleted tweet saying, "Sometimes you have to step back and let your work speak for you, and when that doesn't work you walk away knowing you did your best. It's been fun and a pleasure. Good luck to you all. @WeightWatchers"

Jennifer connected with Weight Watchers back in 2009, after giving birth to her son David. While on the program she shed over 80 pounds.

Well dang. Just when I thought J-Hudd would be what Queen Latifah is for Covergirl this happens. Nevertheless, inspiring transformation these past four years! Go Jen!

Uh Oh! Rapper Tyga Owes $100,000 In Taxes?

"Rack city chick, rack rack city chick. Ten, ten, ten, twenties and them fifties chick" In taxes that is...

The IRS called, and they want their racks back!

YMCMB artist Tyga apparently owes nearly $100,000 stacks in taxes! According to a federal tax lien, the rapper has a few past due balances pending from years 2009 ($11,201), 2010 ($4,437), and 2011 ($76,008). Bringing the total amount due to $91,648.

I'm guessing Tyga will be throwing "hunneds, hunneds" at Uncle Sam's feet for a little while.

He may need to have a meeting with his accountant.

Beyonce: I'm A Boss So I'm Banning The Word Bossy!

Beyonce banbossy

Calling all bossy chicks! TO THE LEFT, TO THE LEFT!...

In honor of Women's History Month, one of the top bosses in the music industry, Beyoncé, has teamed up with the likes of actress Jennifer Garner, political powerhouse Condoleezza Rice, and more to help ban the word "bossy."

In a recent PSA, the powerful women joined forces in association with Facebook's COO Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In foundation, to help erase the domineering word due to its negative connotation when referring to female leaders.

"By middle school, girls are less interested in leadership than boys and that's because they worry about being called bossy...it's ok to be ambitious...lets ban "bossy!"

Check out the PSA below.

This is a great campaign, but...out of all the "B" words that need to be banned when it comes to degrading women, "bossy" was the one that topped the list?

Blue Ivy Sings "Drunk In Love" With Beyonce

Rapper The Game's daughter isn't the only cutie pie who enjoys singing, "SURFBOARD!"

Newly released footage of Beyoncé rehearsing for her too hot for T.V. Grammy performance also captures her daughter Blue Ivy putting her singing skills on display along to her mommy's hit track "Drunk In Love.

The performance, which is almost an exact replica of the actual production (minus Jay Z, who is replaced by Bey's choreographer Frank Gatson), shows Bey giving her all during dress rehearsal, and almost melting to pieces when she hears her daughter belt out "Surfboard! Hi Mommy!" over the mic.

Catch the cuteness below.

Oh, and Blue? No "surfboarding" until someone puts a ring on it mmm'kay?

Meanwhile, how bout Frank Gatson? Suave and swagged out with the subtle choreography moves ain't he?!

*UPDATE* Michael Jackson Has A Long Lost Son?! (Video And Results Inside)

"Billie Jean is not my lover! She's just a girl, who thinks that I am the one. But the kid is not my son!"

Welcome to foolery Friday's A-Listers...

If you haven't been given the tea on the latest Michael Jackson mystery child nonsense news, today's your lucky day.

In the past few days, a 31-year-old man by the name of Brandon Howard has come forth claiming he's the long lost son of pop icon Michael Jackson. Brandon, who is the son of singer Miki Howard, and also an aspiring singer (who goes by the stage name B. Howard), recently agreed to give a DNA sample to an off the wall testing company to show the world that "the kid" may definitely be Michael's son.

The results, which were revealed Thursday on Alki David's FilmOn.com website, alleged that there's a great chance the "Thriller" singer could in fact be the father of Howard.

But somewhere in the musical heavens Michael Jackson is saying, "Not so fast! Beat it!"

According to TMZ, the paternity test, which did not include names of the test subjects, or the name of a testing lab, is none other than hocus pocus bogus! So bogus, that the logo from the so-called DNA testing lab was ripped from the movie "Terminator Salvation."

While doing a reverse image search, the logo was also spotted on promotional T-Shirts for the terminator movie.

I'm guessing by this point, we can call on Maury to re-read the test results..."A lie detector test was taken to prove whether or not you are the child of Michael Jackson, and the results determined THAT WAS A LIE!"

A-List fun fact: In an interview done in 2011, Howard revealed he grew up with the Jackson's and was inspired heavily by the King Of Pop.

Watch B. Howards Michael Jackson impersonated video, "Dance Floor" below.

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Oh...hey guys...you caught me off guard. So, what do ya think?
Michael's son, or crazed stalker family friend?

Update: B. Howard recently posted a video to his Facebook page to comment on the recent drama. Watch what he had to say about all of this below.

Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhane Wallis Star In Remake Of "Annie" (Trailer Inside)

"It's a hard knock life for us! It's a hard knock life for us! Instead of treated, we get tricked! Instead of kisses, we get kicked! IT'S A HARD KNOCK LIFE!"

The trailer for the remake of the hit musical "Annie" is finally here, and the preview of what's to come looks amazing!

The movie, which is slated to hit theaters December 19th, gives viewers a modern day hip hop spin on the original "Annie," and takes us on a journey with billionaire Benjamin Stacks (played by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx), who is looking to soften up his public image by taking in an orphan by the name of Annie (played by Academy Award nominee, Quvenzhane Wallis). The musical also stars A-List favorite, Cameron Diaz who brings modern day flavor to the cruel orphan caretaker, Miss Hannigan.

The film's soundtrack, produced by the one and only Jay Z, features revamped tunes to the musical's hits "Hard Knock Life" and "Tomorrow."

A-List fun fact: Will Smith's daughter, Willow Smith, was originally cast for the role of Annie, but backed out due to wanting to live her life. Great recasting on their part!

Check out the trailer below.

I'll be there to see it! Will you?

The queen of Hollywood glam, and slayer of every red carpet this awards season, Lupita Nyong'o, has nabbed her very first Academy Award!

Our favorite A-List fashionista took home an Oscar for "Best Supporting Actress" tonight for her role in the Steve McQueen directed film, "12 Years A Slave."

After winning, the gorgeous Lupita took to the stage and wowed in a deep plunging Prada pastel blue chiffon gown, and delivered a very emotional acceptance speech, giving thanks to those who made her win possible, and also recognizing the lives of people whose story she helped bring to life.

"Yes! It doesn't escape me for one moment that so much joy in my life [at one time] was so much pain in someone else's...Thank you so much."

When speaking about her new found golden little man, the actress added, "When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every other child that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid."

YAASSS to "your dreams are valid!" Like Oprah always says, "tweetable moment!"

This is Lupita's first Academy Award nomination. Congrats!!!
