A-List Weekend Round Up: Blu Ivy's Tea Party, The Obama's Trip To Cuba, Tyler Perry Narrates, "The Passion"

Happy End Of The Weekend A-Listers! Once again we've approached Sunday Fun-day! Or as many of us like to call it...Sunday Bum-day (Monday, please...hold off for another day...or 2).

Nonetheless, before heading to our weekly 9 to 5's, or dream chaser grinds, let's take a look at what went on this past weekend with some of our fave A-List celebs.

The First Family of Fly the United States recently touched down in Havana, Cuba for an official state visit and bilateral meeting with President Raul Castro.



Moments before stylishly exiting the Air Force One, POTUS took time to alert his Cuban Twitter peeps of his arrival.

¿Que bolá Cuba? Just touched down here, looking forward to meeting and hearing directly from the Cuban people.

This will be the first visit to the island nation by a sitting U.S. president in nearly 90 years, and is considered an "historic opportunity" for Obama.

And now for some adorable Pre-Easter news...Tea Party anyone?

Bunny ears, tea cups, and a crown of roses were a few things describing Blu Ivy and auntie Solange's fun play date together that took place over the weekend. A growing Blu was all smiles and giggles wearing a cute sleeveless hot pink dress while Solange rocked a matching royal blue suit jacket combo.

It's unclear whether or not the festivities were brought to life with the help of Photoshop, but one thing's definitely for sure; They had a muy good time!

Speaking of Easter, will anybody be tuning in to watch Tyler Perry's narrated musical, The Passion? 

If anyone of you guys are unsure about what exactly this is, it's a modern day retelling of Jesus Christ's betrayal, death and resurrection that will take place in the streets of Tyler's hometown, New Orleans.

The 2-hour live event debuts tonight and will include songs of today's time like, Katy Perry's "Unconditionally" "Home," "My Love Is Your Love" and more.

Interesting.

The cast includes Jencarlos Canela as Jesus, Trisha Yearwood as Mary, and "Kiss From A Rose" singer Seal as Pontius Pilate.

The show airs tonight (Palm Sunday) at 7pm CST/8pm EST (which means if you didn't already hear about it, you're about an hour late BUT you still have time for the middle and ending!)

Impersonator Skillz On Fleek: Ariana Grande Masters Rihanna, Whitney Houston, & Britney Spears Voice Imitations

If anyone ever needs someone to deliver a bomb musical tribute of songs from any legendary icon or popular female artist in the game, Ariana Grande just might be your girl...

Last night the "Dangerous Woman" singer showed off her impressive impersonation skills during an SNL skit which poked fun of the recent streaming issues that have gone on with hip hop mogul Jay Z's music service Tidal. 

In the sketch Grande, who plays an intern for the music company, is asked to save the day by doing her best imitation of artists whose music is in jeopardy of being lost after a power outage occurs in the building.

Ariana goes on to impersonate some of the biggest A-List artists in the industry including, Brittney Spears (KILT it!), Shakira, Rihanna (Hilarious!), Whitney Houston and Celione Dion. 

They say as an artist you have to have range...and this chick definitely has range. Take a look at the hilariously funny and genius impersonations below.

Chicks I'm back...By popular demand...Orrr just by passion, BUT nevertheless I'm back and I missed ya'll. Hey ya'll heeeey!

Ok, so It's been a hot minute since I've been running up and down these blog streets and let's just say a LOT has been going on around here!

1st:  Kim and Kanye introduced their adorable cutie pie Saint West to the world! (as well as Yeezy's $53 million dollar debt struggle -_-)
2nd: Actor Charlie Sheen announced his diagnosis of HIV (Yikes and Prayers!)
3rd: Ciara made Future her past and upgraded moved on to NFL baller Russell Wilson, who recently made the pop singer his fiance! Or as some like to call it, his $22 million dollar (cost of the ring) boo. Congrats!
4th: Beyonce called ALL women...ah heck who are we kidding? The entire Black race to get into Formation and feel proud about who they are.
5th The hoopla surrounding the 2016 presidential election: Make history with the first Female leader of the Free World orrr Trump...let that marinate...Trump.

Needless to say, there's been muy tea to sip on!

Which brings us to the most delicious tea flavors of today (or of the week), so take a look below and get the deets on what's been going on with some of our favorite A-List celebs.

First on deck is none other than The First Family! Sending us all to our coffins one gown at a time was FLOTUS Michelle Obama with gorgeous daughters, Sasha and Malia who used the key at this week's Canada State Dinner to unlock all of our fashionable hearts.



Both Obama sisters were elegantly dressed in Naeem Kham floor length gowns that seemingly fit both of the First Daughters personalities. 17-Year Old Malia wore a classic strapless beige gown adorned in gold jewels while younger sister, 14-Year Old Sasha, modeled a black lace dress with light blue and crimson floral patterns, paired with a semi edgy black choker.





The night not only seemed to be filled with slayage from the girls, but also making dreams come true! The below pic of Malia giving the thumbs up to Sasha meeting her teenage dream crush, actor Ryan Reynolds says it all.

 

As for the most sought after and watched woman of the evening, Michelle Obama dawned an indigo blue strappless Jason Wu gown heightened with floral print. Let's not forget the flawless hair and toned arms. We see ya First Lady!





Then there's the POTUS. A man who finds a wife...I'm just saying (Prov 18:22).




Taking us from Family goals to what appears to be weight loss goals is Rob Kardashian and alleged beau Blac Chyna.



The two were spotted over the weekend copping some fresh gear from Diamond Supply Co. apparel, with Rob looking noticeably thinner and healthier. The only male of the Kardashian empire was diagnosed with diabetes in December 2014 after massive weight gain, and Blac Chyna has reportedly been there every step of the way to help whip her new lad back into shape.

I could so go for a Blac Chyna and Tyga comment right here, but the way my 2016 is set up...(I'm trying to grow ladies and gents smh).

Well A-Listers, I think we may all be caught up to speed sans the Kim K. nudes that recently went viral and take place often, the details of Ci and Russell's engagement, and what we can't seem to make go away, the disturbingly and most disgusting footage of the Trump campaign (see below for enlightenment).

Milfin' around: Muva Rose made her viral rounds on the internet again this weekend after uploading pics of her showing support to her latest endorsement deal, Fitness Tea, while also quenching pervs fans thirst by once again displaying her infamous cakes...that you won't be viewing here.

Black love: It was fun day Sunday for the Wade's as Gabrielle and D-Wade made a visit to the art gallery to admire one of contemporary graffiti artist Retna's black on black paintings. The couple posed alongside the portrait in matching fedoras and black on black outfits.

 

 

Oh Baby!: NFL Baller turned reality star Desean Jackson and pregnant girlfriend Kayla Phillips celebrated the birth of their unborn child today with family and friends at their baby shower. 

 



Oh no he didn't! Oh yes he did: Another day, another shade thrower. Lil Duval entered blog territory this weekend after posting a comment about Nicki Minaj's ex Safaree not being a real artist. To make matters worse, the struggling comedian compared S. Beezy's talent, or according to Duval lack thereof, to Nicki's current beau Meek Mill.

Back That Thang Up: Teyana Taylor Twerks To Sam Cooke's Inspirational Song "A Change Is Gonna Come"

 

When life gives you lemons, make twerk-a-nade?...

Amidst all the unjustifiable drama, most recently being the uproar of the confederate flag fiasco, the ongoing killings of unarmed African American men, and all the other injustices taking place around the world, G.O.O.D artist Teyana Taylor has decided to relax your mind by offering up an alternative rendition to RnB singer Sam Cooke's powerful hit, "A Change Is Gonna Come."

The song, originally penned by the late great to address his own personal struggles, including an event in which Cooke was turned away from a "whites only" motel in Louisiana, has since been remixed by the raspy soul bearing diva to better relate to what appears the generation of today is more prone to grasp on to -- which in this case is a non-stopping, booty popping, shake what ya' mama gave ya' twerk fest! Lawd!

In the short video you witness Teyana donning a cowboy hat while belting out Cooke's opening lyric, "I was born by the river..." As the songstress continues on with the tune she hesitates moving to the next verse before busting out into her own interpretation of the American Civil Rights anthem, giving fans what I assume is the 2015 version instead.

To better understand the remake of the newly updated song the lyrics went a little something like this..." I was borrrn by the river! The river. The riv...ri...ri...ri. I was born by the river I was shaking that @#s! Bend it over pop that p##sy I was shaking that @#s."

Chris Brown To Bruce Jenner: You're A Science Project!

 

Either something's deeply troubling Chris Brown or he just purely enjoys being the center of not so good attention...

And on this week's episode of No Filter Friday's, Chris goes HAM (for no apparent reason) again!

The "Private Show" singer, who has become the master of being not so private, is back in the headlines AGAIN for taking jabs at a celebrity, and this time it's the Kardashians patriarch, Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner.

In a post, uploaded to the singer's Instagram account, Breezy attempted to shed some positive light on singer Akon's latest and greatest Lighting Africa initiative (which entails bringing electricity to 600 million people in Africa with the use of solar power!) but instead overshadowed THAT master plan by posting a shade covered meme that compared Bruce to a science project.

 

And apparently he's not the only one feeling salty about Bruce trading his man of steel for a pair of heels. According to the Dog father himself, Snoop D-O-Double G ain't having it either!

In fact, the "California Roll" rapper was the first out of the two to post the meme (three days ago to be exact) to make sure people knew exactly where he stood with Akon's project and the unveiling of Caitlyn.

This is the second round of drama Chris has landed himself in over the course of a few hours with the first involving his ex/next girlfriend Karreuche. If you have yet to sip on that tea, Chris basically stalked her then threatened to punch one of her friends in the face  -_-

The Kardashian-West clan just got a tad bit bigger!

After months and months of trying to conceive Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are finally expecting baby number 2!

The big news was delivered in true Kimye fashion Sunday night, airing during a teaser that was shown at the end of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians midseason finale.

During this season of KUWTK Kim shared her struggles with trying to give baby (well toddler now) Nori a little brother or sister, and was very open about the journey not coming as easy as the first time around.

"Trying for baby number 2 is just not fun like baby number 1."

The Wests special delivery comes just in time, as the couple just recently celebrated their one year anniversary.

Awe, congrats to them both! I wonder what they'll name their second child? I'm thinking something along the lines of South West airlines?

Joseline Hernandez may have a lot of 'splainin' to do in front of the cameras of Love and Hip Hop about faithfulness when it comes to her questionable marriage with husband and has been hit maker producer, Stevie J.

The "school bus" pimp himself took to twitter earlier today to unleash the tell all dragon on the Puerto Rican princess, accusing her of committing adultery while he was away serving time at rehab.

"While I was in rehab getting my life together I was being cheated on after all I did to help her & her family."

Along with "Steebie's" confessional rant the front man of LAHH also took time to throw subliminal shots that may have been directed towards Joseline.

"I will no longer try to make stars or devote my time to Wack artists."

Of course we know that Joseline aka "The Baddest Puta" wouldn't keep quiet for too long after catching wind of Stevie's twitter bashing therapy session. This isn't the first time the couple has been in the news regarding a cheating scandal. A-List Weddings: Lance Gross Marries Fiance' Rebecca Jefferson In L.A. Wedding

It's all about the "I do's" ladies and gentlemen!...

A big congrats are in order for Lance Gross and his fiancé, fashion stylist Rebecca Jefferson, who made things extra official by tying the knot this glorious memorial day weekend!

The proud new parents got hitched in a private romantic ceremony near Los Angeles this Saturday evening amongst close family and friends.

Lance alluded to the couple's upcoming nuptials by uploading pics on his Instagram page of what his weekend attire would consist of which ended up being a Tom Ford production -- an all white tuxedo jacket paired with suited black pants and accented with a black bow tie for the special occasion.

Some of our fellow A-Listers on hand to witness the couple's special day were E news T.V. Personality Terrance J., Power 105's Angie Martinez, and Khloe Kardashian's bestie, Malika Haqq.

Jagged Edge Member Marries Fiance' After Shoving Engagement Ring Down Her Throat

When the paws come out to play the wedding bells will slay! Yea...doesn't really make sense to me either...

 

It's been 4 months since the horrific domestic showdown that took place between Jagged Edge band member Kyle Norman and his then fiancé Marrika Maria, but a lot has changed since then and both have recently decided to tie the knot! *Lets not all get excited at once here* 

 

According to Rolling Out magazine the couple exchanged vows in an impromptu wedding ceremony held at a local Atlanta lounge causing all broken eye blood vessels, and golf ball sized head knots (injuries the bride suffered) to be a thing of the past!

Not only was Rolling Out there to cover the couple entering into matrimony-dom but they were also on hand to hear Marrika out on why she decided to meet Kyle at the altar...in her white dress.

 

"Crediting my deep prayers and talks with God, my deep love for Kyle and conviction that Kyle really does love me and has vowed not to place his hands on me ever again. I am not listening to the naysayers who keep trying to say he doesn't love me and encourage me to leave."

Oh KKKK...

 

Despite overcoming the worst in her relationship Marrika discloses that she still remains in physical pain since the incident and takes medication that prohibits her from getting proper amounts of sleep.

 

"I will admit, I am in a lot of pain every day, physically. I am on several different pain medications which keep me up. I am not able to get more than three hours of sleep."

 

Marrika goes on to say, "I know in my heart that God will help me get through this. I'm blessed to be alive and still have the love and support of my family. I am finding it easier each day to shun the haters that leave me text messages and voicemails."

 

And that right there A-Listers is what you call that ride or die type of chemistry. Like literally, that ride...or DIE.

 

Marrika is expected to come out with a book that details her domestic account and that will be targeted towards helping other women who have gone through similar situations.

 

And on that note, best of luck, prayers, magic, voodoo, and anything else that will help keep their marriage whole and safe throughout its entirety...

2015 Billboard Music Awards Roundup (Video Inside)

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! Unless your being taped in front of a live audience of screaming fans and musical peers to be shown around the world...

The 2015 Billboard music awards kicked off Sunday night at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Arena and brought out some of the music industry's most talented and hottest artists to date!

The show was hosted by super model and Academy Award winning singer John Legend's wife, Chrissy Teigen (who show stopped in multiple gown changes for the night) and Fast and Furious co-star and rapper, Ludacris.

To kick off the show America's sweetheart turned fashion icon Taylor Swift delivered a special gift to her Swiftees wrapped in the form of a brand new hot spankin' visual for her latest track "Bad Blood" with guest appearances from her besties Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Jessica Alba, and Lena Dunham and also featured Grammy award winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, who not only lent his presence, but a few bars of his own to the Max Martin and Shellback produced track.



On deck to grace the stage at the BBMAs were a few of our favorite A-listers including Mariah Carey who performed her first number 1 hit "Vision Of Love" before introducing her new single titled "Infinity" from her forthcoming album "#1 to Infinity." Wiz Khalifa, Brittney Spears and Iggy Azalea, Pit Bull and Chris brown, Nicki Minaj with spin master David Guetta and Kanye West also took to the stage.

Mariah Carey dazzled in a sequined floor length gown as she serenaded the crowd with her debut hit, "Vision Of Love" and latest single "Infinity." Not the Mariah I grew up on but nevertheless she got through the performance.

 

Wiz Khalifa blessed the stage with his #1 hit single (for 5 weeks in a row) "See You Again" while breaking out in praise dance, all with the help of Charlie Puth and violinist Lindsey Sterling. The Paul Walker tribute was Introduced by Fast and Furious co-stars Tyrese and Ludacris.
 

If there's one thing Britney Spears wanted us all to know its that she's back and here to stay! Performing her new hit song "Pretty Girls" with Iggy Azalea in an all black sheer and latex cat suit Britney demanded to show the new school who paved the way for the Zendayas, Mileys and Ariana Grandes of the world, and proved that she was the princess of pop then, the queen of pop now, and will be ruling the game for years to come. Lip sync Sang it Britney!
 

 

 

Latin King rapper Pit Bull and RnB crooner Chris Brown wowed the crowd while cha-cha-ing and getting down to their latest Michael Jackson Thriller inspired collabo "Fun." The duo was introduced by a stunning looking J.Lo. who showed off her very fit (and envious) physique in a -- you guessed it!-- another see through sparkling gown!

 

It's Barbie witches! Nicki Minaj had all the barbz bouncing and singing (including Taylor Swift and Zendaya) along to her chart topping singles "The Night Is Still Young" and the David Guetta produced track "Hey Mama." The raptress sashayed and danced her way across the stage while donning her signature bootylicious get up consisting of a black fitted shoulder puff jacket, bra, and feathered mini skirt.

Mr. West...excuse me, Dr. West is in the building! Kanye came through to close out the show after kid sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner introduced their newest big brother. Yeezy set the stage on fire (literally) as he performed "All Day" and "Black Skinhead." From the crowds facial expressions the performance looked to be nothing short of amazing! Too bad all the viewers at home couldn't tell what was going on from all the smoke and censored lyrics.
