Not Again: Porsha Williams Arrested For Speeding

This chick must be gunning for the most mug shots in 2014...

Going on the wall of shame for the 2nd time in a row this year is ex RHOA cast mate, Porsha Williams!

According to TMZ, the reality starlet was arrested earlier for speeding -- going 78mph in a 55mph speed zone down the Atlanta highway.

So why was she hauled off to the slammer for such a minor offense? Cops claim it's because she was driving on a suspended license (I guess being booted from Atlanta Housewives caused her not to renew her drivers license. Yea...makes no sense to me either).

Porsha was booked and posted $1726 bond.

Her current mug shot isn't as hot as her first, but she's still serving fresh face though! All in all, lets leave the mug shots in 2014 eh?

Oh No! Chris Rock Files For Divorce From Wife Malaak Compton-Rock After 20 Years

Say it ain't so...

Another day another celebrity divorce. And sadly, this time it's between comedian Chris Rock and wife, Malaak Compton-Rock.

After nearly 20 years of marriage and 2 beautiful children, Lola Simone and Zahra Savannah, Chris and Malaak have decided to call it quits.

In a statement released Sunday Malaak confirmed the sad news saying, "After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways. Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life's blessings, even when faced with difficulties. While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives."

Reconfirming the separation between the two was Chris's attorney, Robert S. Cohen who wrote, "Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak. This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family."

The 'Top Five' star and his estranged wife married in 1996, and spent years (like any other celeb couple) defending their marriage from possible infidelities, and from speculation of Rock fathering another child.

Wowzers. Definitely something not to be thankful for during this holiday season. Here's to working it out for the better!

'Tis the season for giving and receiving, and right now this couldn't be more true for the Dean household!

A big holiday congrats are in order for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz who just received one of the greatest gifts of all -- their 2nd child together, Genesis Ali Dean!

Baby Genesis made his grand entrance on Saturday, December 27th weighing in at a healthy 6 lbs. and 5 oz.

Both proud parents took to Instagram to share the arrival with fans posting a picture of their new bundle of joy's foot prints with the message, "The Joy of Joy is Joy, it's a Boy! We are so grateful! #Blessings"

Baby Genesis will join big brothers Egypt, (Alicia and Swizz's first child together), Prince Nasir, Kasseem, and big sister Nicole (who are all from previous relationships).

Mile High Proposal: Ludacris Gets Engaged To Eudoxie On A Private Jet

Another happily ever after is in the works and this time it involves rapper Ludacris and long time girlfriend Eudoxie!

The couple recently got engaged during a holiday vacay to Costa Rica amongst some of their A-List buddies including Letoya Luckett, singer Monica and b-baller hubby Shannon Brown.

And from what we can see, the proposal was nothing short of being extra "fly!"

According to Instagram shots of the couple, Luda pulled out all the stops to pop the big question by taking Eudoxie on a romantic plane ride over a field of baby blue flowers that spelled out "Eudoxie will you marry me."

The response to the million dollar question? If you ask Luda it wasn't yes, but a "HELL YES!"

After the proposal cousin and BFF Monica took to Instagram to share in the excitement and to possibly announce that she may be Luda's right hand best woman on their big day.

Whoever thought there was an age limit to having children, Stevie Wonder is here to tell you think again!

The musical legend along with girlfriend, Tomeeka Bracy have welcomed their 2nd child together (and Stevie's 9th) baby Nia!

During his visit to The View last month the 64-year-old dispelled rumors that he and his girlfriend were expecting triplets saying "I got how many? 22 kids?! It's not true. The truth is we're going to have a wonderful daughter born in December and her name is going to be Nia which means 'purpose'".

VH1's 'Sorority Sisters' Cast: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

 

Looking to get the tea on what real sorority life is like? Well...THIS POST AIN'T FOR YOU! Ratchet lovers on the other hand, enter at your own risk...*Puts head in hands*

The premiere of VH1's new series, 'Sorority Sisters' made it's way to T.V. land tonight, and while the show brought more attention to Greek organizations affiliated with the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), it also brought lots of bucked eyes and dropped mouths!

The first episode introduced viewers to "sorors" from the most prominent African American sororities including, Delta Sigma Theta Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Inc.

And while many were expecting on a hope and a prayer for the show to highlight a group of women in their careers, making a difference in their communities (with a tad bit of hardships along the way) they were instead welcomed with the ratchetness and drama that makes all hit reality shows go 'round.

From Priyanka the "Gangsta D," who's mission is checking to see who's a "real Delta" instead of checking for a "real job" to April, the "ratchet girl in pretty pearls" who'll let no one stand in the way of her fashion dreams, this show is sure to be someone's guilty pleasure.

Shanna: Raised in a small town in the state of Arkansas. Tries her darnd-est to understand the struggles of her African American sorority sisters.



Veronica: An aspiring dancer, who will risk it all (even her fiancé) to follow her dreams of becoming a professional dancer.



Joy: Either she was as quiet as a mouse or not on the first episode. Apparently she's a teacher by day and an actress by night.



Words to describe my feelings on the first episode? I got nothing. Embarrassed, Shocked, Embarrassed, Shocked, and Embarrassed.

One thing's for sure, if sorority women who watched the show didn't agree with each other before, I have a good feeling they're all on one accord now.

Where They Do That At?: 'Honey Boo Boo' Star Mama June Offered 1 Mllion Dollars For Sex Tape?

This might be the yuckiest oddest news I've heard all year...

The matriarch of our favorite red neck family, Mama June, along with estranged husband Suga Bear may be coming back to a T.V. near you. And not in a family friendly kind of way.

According to TMZ, the stars of TLC's axed show ' Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' have been asked by Vivid Entertainment to produce a sex tape!

This. Can't. Be. Life.

Apparently the adult film company's leading man, Steve Hirsch, brained the idea and reached out to both June and Suge offering $1 million for the couple's participation!

Steve is known for releasing some of the biggest and most infamous sex tapes including Kim Kardashian and Ray J., Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, and most recently LAHH's Mimi Faust and Nikko.

Back in October both Mama June and Suga Bear's marital woes made headlines after allegations surfaced of June having a secret affair with her daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell's molester, Mark McDaniel.

Some people are just born with no chill. And Steve...you may be one of them.

Taylor Swift is officially on her grown woman status, and she's throwing pizza themed birthday parties to prove it!

In what I'm going to go ahead and deem as 2014's best house party ever, Taylor called on some of her good friends (i.e. our favorite A-Listers) to help ring in her 25th birthday.

The party took place Friday night at her New York City apartment where she reportedly had 20 pizzas delivered to help suffice the munchies of guests including, Beyoncé and Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, her bestie Selena Gomez, and Sam Smith (Oh to be the pizza delivery guy for that house).

In a post uploaded to Instagram the "Welcome To New York" singer wrote, "So this is being 25....#WHAT #bestbirthdayEVER"

In the 11 1/2 minute short film the "Flawless" singer opens up  about the sacrifices that come with being a celebrity, her mother's sound advice on the importance of being an independent woman, and motherhood.

Chris Brown To Karrueche: I'm Sorry And I Love You!

Well That was quick...

Since the nasty exchange over the weekend, between Chris Brown and now ex GF Karrueche, a lot of us have had cups in hand waiting to see who would pour more tea regarding the couple's situation (Drake? Rihanna possibly?).

But it seems tea time may be over (please, let it be over) with Chris giving us all a nice big glass of H2O instead (which is much more refreshing by the way).

Not even two days after his Instagram meltdown response to Karrueche's PSA of being done for now, Breezy has stepped up to the plate to offer up an apology for his whackness, kissing and telling.

In a post uploaded to Instagram, in the wee hours of the morning, Chris attributed his acting a donkey "reacting impulsively" to loving hard and being hurt by Kae's decision to move on.

He wrote:

It's good to see Chris owning up to his shadiness so quickly.

Now if he could just master thinking before reacting his world would be a better place...

Just when we thought it was safe to move on from the Chris Brown and Karrueche version of Love And Hip Hop, the two have proved that there's more to give!

Tonight, in an attempt to have a fresh and positive start from their recent break up, Kae hopped on Instagram to share a waiting to exhale moment with followers about loving yourself, and also admitted that she's officially done with the mistreatment (i.e. cheating, anger issues, Rihanna issues) from C. Breezy.

And of course, the "kumbaya" moment didn't sit to well with Chris. Not surprising.

After catching wind of Karrueche's "free your mind" announcement, Breezy took it upon himself to air out both of their dirty laundry posting:

There's just so many questions for this reality show of a relationship:

1. If Chris un-followed Karrueche, why is he still responding to her posts?
2. Are all of Kae's followers her BFF's, or is it that therapeutic to share your business?
3. Is it safe to say the expiration date on the "I'm young and dumb" card is near? At 25 and 26-years-old you're considered an adult.

This time around could very well be the nail in the coffin for the two on again off again love birds, but whatever their decision, I'm sure they'll make it their duty to inform us all on what's going on. And with tea cups in hand, we'll be here for it.

Tika Sumpter To Play First Lady Michelle In Romance Movie About The Obamas

Ever wondered what a romantic date night would be like for the POTUS and First Lady? Now you may get your chance!

In a newly announced romantic drama titled, "Southside With You" viewers will get a front row seat to witness how future President Barack Obama, swept the First Lady, off her feet.

The movie will chronicle the Obama's first date in 1989, and feature 'The Haves And Have Nots' actress, Tika Sumpter, as the younger Michelle (Robinson). For now, the search continues for the "perfect" younger Barack.

So what can we expect to see from this romance? According to the FLOTUS something that's pretty "cool."

When speaking of their first date during an interview, Michelle said, "It was a cool date actually, we spent the whole day together...He was showing me all facets of his character...He was hip, cutting edge, cultural, sensitive." The FLOTUS continued her praise of the Prez by adding that he was also very "patient."

The film will be directed by Richard Tenne and produced by Tracey Bing and Stephanie Allain (you may recognize Allain's work in 'Hustle & Flow' and most recently 'Beyond The Lights')

Chris Brown To Karrueche: These Girls Ain't Loyal And You're One Of Them!

Another day another break up between Chris and Kae. I would call this trouble in paradise, but has there really ever been a paradise between these two? *sighs*

Chris Brown and girlfriend Karrueche are now off again according to a shade throwing comment he made at the Cali Christmas concert last night.

During Breezy's set, just before jumping into his hit song 'Loyal,' Chris asked his female stans if any of them were single before shouting out, "I'm single too! F### that b###h!" *blank stare*

Chris also took the time to unfollow Karrueche on Instagram just to make sure everyone got the message that he means business. *Inserts sarcasm here*

The breakup news comes on the heels of one of his most recent interviews he did with Hot 97 where he gushed about his "real connection" with Kae.

"[We've been together for 4 1/2 years] She's straight I dig her man, she's dope. I feel like especially being in the industry you need someone that understands you...we have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy..."

And now she's the B-word eh? And they say women are emotional Oh well, we know they'll work it out, and yada yada yada...

Somebody has GOT to be pulling an Oprah; giving out free "no indictment" cards to all smh...

A Staten Island grand jury's decision not to indict NYPD officer, Daniel Pantaleo, for the illegal chokehold death of Eric Garner has sent a new wave of demonstrators into protest mode and sparked major shock and outrage within the social media world.

The conclusion comes just 9 days after a grand jury found no illegality in police officer, Darren Wilson's actions for the shooting and killing of unarmed teenager, Michael Brown. Talk about pouring salt on an open wound.

Since the decision, celebs and others have used their virtual voices to weigh in on both Brown and Garner cases using trending hastags, #ICantBreathe for the protest of Eric, and #CrimingWhileWhite for those oblivious to ongoing race relation issues in America.

Kelly Rowland Confirms Death Of Her Mother Doris Rowland Garrison

First Todd Tucker, and now the beautiful Mrs. Kelly Rowland...

Kelly Rowland has finally confirmed what we were all hoping to be untrue, which is the sad news of her mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, who recently passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

In a statement released to E! news the singer wrote, "It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Doris Rowland Garrison. She was an incredible woman who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman and now mother I am today. We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time."

Speculation of Doris's death first hit the net last night starting with tweets from rumored friends of the family sending prayers and condolences Kelly's way.

Friend and celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins also alluded to the tragedy with a tweet that simply stated, "Love people while they are here."

Earlier, Beyoncé subliminally addressed the news by uploading a caption-less image of clouds parting the sky.

Kelly and husband Tim Weatherspoon welcomed Miss Doris's grandson, Baby Titan, a few short weeks ago.

Such a sad situation. Sending prayers and condolences to the Weatherspoon's, Kelly's brother Orlando, and their entire family. Hug your people while you still can A-Listers...tomorrow is not promised.
