Class is in session, and
Recently New Orleans rapper and Roc Nations own, Jay Electronica linked up with head honcho Jay Z to lay a remix down to the catchy track "We Made It."
In the song, Jay Electronica addresses his fans and thanks them for their loyal support, while Hovi Hov takes time to respond to comments Drake made about him during a Rolling Stone interview, regarding his current interest in art.
"Sorry Mrs./Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk. Silly me rapping about ish that I really bought. While these rappers rap about guns they ain't shot and a bunch of other silly ish that they ain't got. I'm on my Lupita N'yongo, stuntin' on stage after 12 years a slave."
Wellll alrighty then. I think that issue's been resolved.
Oh, and for those wondering what Drake's comments were. Here ya go: "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny."
Take a listen to the track below, and while at it, can someone tell me if Jay addressed Drizzy as a Mr. or Mrs.?
