Shameless Foolery: Protest To Take Place At Maya Angelou's Funeral

Some people are just starving for attention. An example of milking the celebrity cow at its finest smh...

The Christian extremists of Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas have found their next victim to harass and disrespect, and this time, it's none other than America's phenomenal woman, Maya Angelou.

On Friday, the church's spokeswoman, Rebecca Phelps-Davis, confirmed a protest would take place at the funeral of the award-winning author with five to 10 of her church members. Phelps-Davis said the church will protest the funeral because Angelou supported same-sex marriage and gay rights.

"Maya Angelou had a platform that she never used to glorify God...Same-sex marriage will destroy America."

Westboro Baptist Church is known for their extreme thirst for the spotlight infamous protests, targeting American military personnel, and for their strong opposition towards gay rights.

The random demonstration will happen on a sidewalk or public place near Angelou's funeral site, where signs will be displayed against the Still I Rise poet.

Maya Angelou died at the age of 86 Wednesday inside of her Winsten-Salem home.

Interesting. I could've sworn Maya Angelou's platform had everything to do with her influential literature, and nothing to do with being a gay rights activist. Here's to another shameless and desperate attempt to gain notoriety!

*UPDATE* Floyd Mayweather Speaks: I'm Sorry Tiny, And T.I. You're Psycho!

Bits and pieces of what happened between T.I. and Floyd Mayweather are starting to come to light, and from the looks of things, T.I. might have some 'splainin to do.

In an exclusive interview with NecoleBitchie, pretty boy Floyd decided to give his take on what exactly caused the fight between he and Tip. He also spilled the tea on whether or not he and Tiny had a secret relationship, and how he feels about T.I. going bird on him at Fat Burger.

Floyd on T.I. approaching him:

[T.I.] stepped to me when I was at the jewelry store [in New York] like, 'Yo lets go outside and talk...These girls tryna play us against each other.' I said, I don't know what you're talking about. You're talking about your wife?...Listen, I'm letting you know, me and your wife don't have nothing if you think so...Memorial Day weekend, a lot of people come to Las Vegas. Tiny and Shekinah was out there...they cool, everything is cool...We having fun. [Later that night] I'm eating at Fat Burger and next thing you know he walk in talking about we need to talk again. I told him, you need to get the f##k out my face...don't come to my face with no disrespectful ish. [T.I. says] 'You do it in the ring, I do it in the streets'...A couple of words were exchanged, and then a riot kinda broke out...and that was basically it.

Floyd on calling Tiny out of her name:

I said something like "control your b#%ch" and I don't want to say that about Tiny, so I do apologize to Tiny because she's cool people...She never been disrespectful to me...I apologize to Tiny and all of her children and T.I.'s children and Tiny's family for saying what I said.

Floyd on whether or not he and Tiny have a relationship:

I'm not sleeping with that girl, and I told that man before. But if I was, talk to her about it, don't talk to me about that...Tiny is married, and I respect that. I don't care if ya'll separated, she's still married under God's eyes and the law.

T.I. To Floyd Mayweather: I Wanna See You In The Ring! (Video Inside)

Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum, I smell a rapper getting kicked in the dome...If he doesn't sit down...

First, there was the "who can be the most ratchet on Instagram" exchange between T.I. and his wife Tiny. Then there was the almost violent showdown that took place between the hustle gang rapper and friend, The Game with LAPD officers. And most recently, (until now) was T.I.'s attempt to try and punk ATL Housewives co-star Apollo Nida, by getting him to confess on camera that the "king of the south" ain't no snitch.

And now we have, what appears to be, a Memorial Day weekend match up between T.I. and the undisputed champ Floyd Mayweather smh.

Things got a little heated Saturday night between boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, and rapper T.I. after Floyd's daughter's Vegas birthday bash at MGM. According to TMZ, money Mayweather allegedly went to grab a bite to eat at Fat Burger after the birthday celebration, but his dinner was cut short from a flying chair thrown by an angry T.I. After the chair was thrown, it was reported that Tip continued to live out his possible wish of being a boxer by swinging and cursing at Floyd, which eventually led to all mayhem breaking loose.

Las Vegas police arrived on the scene after T.I. vanished, and as Floyd was leaving.

There's no word on what caused the fight, but many say it may have stemmed from Tiny's girls night out to club Prive Friday night (The same place Floyd partied that night), and her appearance at his daughter's b-day bash the next day.

Whatever the case may be, I can almost guarantee it wasn't worth the fight. Besides, whatever happened to the old T.I. being "dead and gone?"

Jay Z And Solange: We've Moved On And So Should You!

Well folks, there's nothing to see here (As if we all thought any differently)...

The PR firm family has finally spoken, and this day has officially been declared national make up with your sibling day!

Earlier today, big brother Hov, feisty little sister Solange, and stand to the side before I get my head knocked off  Bey released a joint statement letting fans and haters alike know that despite the kicking, and slapping you all witnessed in the Standard hotel elevator, everything's good!

In the statement Beyoncé says, "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

And to cancel out any rumors of Solange being drunk off her hinny as a result of the fight, the statement dismisses this as being the case.

 "The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different...We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

So wait...Solange just acts like that without having anything in her system? *cricket, cricket*

Oh well, another Carter-Knowles family scandal bites the dust! We will never ever, EVER know what happened.

Kelly Rowland Gets Hitched After Jay Z And Solange Showdown?!

 

Like after any fight, the show must go on...

A few short days after Karate chopping her brother in-law, Solange and big sis Beyoncé, jetted across the friendly skies to attend what may have been their gal pal Kelly Rowland's secret wedding!

According to E! news, the sisters landed in Costa Rica on May 8th to meet their mother Tina Knowles, and DC bandmate Michelle Williams. Local paper La Nación also reported spotting Kelly Rowland with her beau Tim Witherspoon chilling out at the tropical destination (hmm, I spy a secret wedding going on!).

To add more speculation to the wedding rumors, the "Love On Top" singer uploaded a glamorous Instagram selfie looking bridesmaid ready with the caption "Good morning."

Beyoncé made the trip without her hubby Jay Z...who was too busy soaking his head with ice. If this is true, a big congrats to the happy couple!

Jay Z Attacked By Beyonce's Sister Solange At Met Gala! (Video Inside)

I've always wanted to be a fly on the wall when it came to personal moments with the Knowles-Carter clan but, I didn't think it would involve something this outrageous!

Apparently it all went down a few nights ago after the 2014 Met Gala, and crap hit the elevator fan between Jay Z and his sister-in-law Solange Knowles!

In video, obtained by TMZ, you see the Carters and Solange stepping into an elevator, and shortly afterwards, Solange releasing the dragon on Jay by repeatedly kicking and screaming at him.

The footage also shows a man, who appears to be a bodyguard holding Solange, as she spews out mysterious obscenities towards Jay Z while Beyoncé stands aside.

After the showdown, all three were spotted leaving the building together, with Bey and Solange entering one vehicle, and Jay being escorted to another.

An explanation on this would be interesting, but seeing as how they've mastered not addressing issues that have gone public, I'd recommend not holding your breath. On another note...who's the employee that released the tape!?

Sherri Shepherd's Husband: Give Me All Your Money Honey!

Ride Sally Ride!...

Things aren't looking too good for The View's Sherri Shepherd and estranged hubby Lamar Sally, as the plot continues to thicken amid their alleged marriage woes.

It was first reported that Sally filed for legal separation (he doesn't meet the residency requirements for divorce in the state of California yet) from Shepherd after nearly 3 years of marriage, claiming the marriage was a Fraud, and now it's been brought to light that the couple have a baby on the way by a surrogate due in July! (We can't make this stuff up people).

According to TMZ, Sal filed legal documents requesting to have full custody of their unborn child with limited visitation rights for Sherri. To add a horrific cherry on top of all of this, he's also requesting spousal support and for their pre-nup to be tossed out!

Sherri and Sal jumped the broom back in August, 2011 after the demise of her first marriage to Jeff Tarpley in 2010.

So let me try to make sense of this right quick. Sally wants spousal support, possible child support, AND for their pre-nup to be trashed? I don't want to overthink this or anything but, "All I see is signs, all I see is dollar signs."

Kim and Kanye Reveal Their Wedding Invite + More Wedding Details Inside

 The big day is fastly approaching for lovebirds Kim and Kanye, and to amp things up, the couple have decided to exclusively release a pic of their invitation to US Weekly.

The invite, received by 100 of their closest family and A-List friends, features a simple and sleek design, with gold lettering atop a gray background, and lists very little details of the couples extravagant wedding weekend.

One of the few things Kimye has revealed is that their lavish ceremony will take place on May 24th in Paris, France and that guests will be informed the location of the venue and other details upon arrival.

If you're waiting to see how the nuptials will play out on camera then...keep on waiting! Kim recently tweeted that fans will only get to keep up with this Kardashian before and after vows are given. "We've decided to keep this close to our heart and share thru photos."

Well, if you're gonna exploit, you gotta make sure you do it the right way eh?

Cha Ching!: Dr. Dre Set To Get $3 Billion From Apple, Inc.

*Cues Bruno Mars* "I wanna be a billionaire, sooo freaking bad, buy all of the things I never had. I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine, smiling next to Oprah and the queen."

There's a new sheriff Dr. in town, and his name is Dre...

One of the biggest deals in history for rapper/producer turned mogul Dr. Dre is about to take place, and if everything goes as planned, the Beats co-creator will become a billionaire within the next week!

It's been reported that Andre Young, better known as Dr. Dre, is in last stages of closing out a major $3.2 billion deal with mega electronics brand Apple, Inc! *Passes out here*

Last night, the rapper was spotted turnin' up over the news, while looking into a camera with R&B singer Tyrese saying, "The first billionaire in hip hop...right here, from the West Coast!"

This would be Apple's largest deal ever, and would also play as a lifesaver for the multinational brand, who's sales have dwindled significantly due to competition like Samsung, Google, and Microsoft blowing them out of the water.

Apple and Beats have been reached for comment, but have yet to respond.

In the meantime, we'll be over here singing, "Ain't nothing but a G. thang baaaby...Death Row...Apple Brand is the label that paaaays me!"

Harmless or Harmful? Willow Smith In Bed With Shirtless 20-Year-Old Man

Ok, does somebody have some explaining to do?...

A controversial image of Willow Smith has made it's rounds this morning, showing the 13-year-old cozied in bed alongside a shirtless 20-year-old man.

The Instagram photo, that's sparked outrage on social media, shows a relaxed Willow, laying on top of a comforter in front of Hanna Montana actor Moises Arias.

Arias allegedly posted the black and white pic to his Instagram page, but quickly removed it after fans called the image perverted, and labeled the setting as too mature for the young teen.

This isn't the first time Willow has caught flack for living past her age. The daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith also made headlines for her risqué style of clothing, and for song lyrics deemed for adult ears only.

So, A-Listers, is this considered harmless or harmful? Looking at the photo, I don't see anything out of the ordinary, but at the same time I still feel jeepers creepers about it. Maybe next time, Arias should think about pulling a chair up, eh? *Looks at Will and Jada*

Feds Are Watching: RHOA Apollo Nida Faces Up To 30 Years In Prison

If this is what being a Housewife reality star is about, count me out...

Things are about to get all the way real for RHOA star Phaedra Parks and hubby Apollo Nida, who recently plead guilty to charges of mail, wire, and bank fraud.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, earlier today in court, Apollo admitted to opening a fake debt collection agency to steal "unclaimed funds, refunds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. treasury checks, and refunds from fraudulent U.S. income tax returns."

The charges brought against Apollo have him facing up to 30 years in prison, and also owing the victims involved $2.3 million!

When giving an explanation as to why he felt the need to participate in such a heinous crime, the "real husband" said it was because he felt the pressure of living up to the reality star lifestyle (...that was the best you had for the judge?)

After his time spent justifying his foolish behavior, Apollo expressed regret for what he had done saying, "I take full responsibility for my actions...It was a dumb situation I put myself in again."

Apollo's next court date is set for Tuesday, July 8th at 2pm.

Here's to hoping he doesn't have to do the full 30 years in the slammer. I mean, who knows...maybe he looks at jail how Dorothy from Oz looks at Kansas; Meaning, "There's no place like home." Best of luck to Phaedra and those two babies...

A-List Or D-List Fashion: Rihanna Goes Goth For iHeart Radio Music Awards

"When I'm putting my looks together I dare myself to make it work. I always look for the most interesting silhouette or something that's a little off, but I have to figure it out. I have to make it me. I think that's the thrill in fashion." - Rihanna.

The freaks stars came out last night for the iHeart Radio Music Awards in L.A., but there was one show stopper in particular who had no problem letting people know she was in the building.

Our favorite bad gal, Rihanna, was spotted at the awards show mingling with some of her A-List besties, and showing off her physique at the same dang time!

 The 26-year-old, who took home 4 awards including Artist Of The Year, turned heads in a sheer black lace Givenchy Couture Riccardo Tisci dress, and completed her risqué Goth look with dark green lipstick and a platted mane.

So now, for the question of the day. Is RiRi's look A-List or D-List?
