A-List Babies: Snoop Dogg Welcomes 1st Grandson

Was this a best kept secret, or something that flew right over my head?

A big congrats are in order for Snoop Dogg, 'aka' Cordozar, and wife Shante, who've just recently added a new addition to the Broadus clan!

Both are now the proud grandparents to eldest son Corde Calvin's new bundle of joy,  Zion Broadus!

The Doggfather hopped on Instagram to share the news of his first grand-pup's arrival, posting an image of his youngest son Cordell cradling his newest nephew, with his brother and first time father Corde proudly standing by his side.

"Zion. Wit his uncle n dad. Can't wait to meet u baby dogg!! My 1st grandson!! The saga continues."

This will make two proud father-son moments, over the span of a few days, for Snoop who's currently gearing up for the premiere of a new docu-series on ESPN featuring his son Cordell titled, 'Snoop And Son: A Dad's Dream'.

The four part series will chronicle the high school wide receiver's journey as he transitions to collegiate football.

Good to see great things happening for these two!

On another note: *Turns to Paw Paw Snoop* Let's try and keep any "medicinal" shenanigans from happening around baby Z.

Back At It Again: George Zimmerman Arrested For Aggravated Assault

George Zimmerman Arrested for Aggravated Assault

In the words of rapper DMX, "Here we go AGAIN!"...

George Zimmerman has found himself back in the spotlight for the umpteenth time, and this go-round it involves--drum roll please--Another aggravated assault incident!...

Zimmerman, who's infamously known for the 2012 killing of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, was arrested Friday night after throwing a wine bottle during an alleged dispute that took place in Lake Mary, Florida. *rolls eyes out of my head*

Georgey appeared in Seminole County court Saturday morning where he was instructed by the judge to stay away from the female victim assaulted and to also surrender any firearms he has in his possession by Tuesday.

This is the third incident Zimmerman's been apart of, involving a weapon -- EXCLUDING the Trayvon Martin case where he was found not guilty of murder.

Over...It.

In the meantime, lets all be better for 2015 eh?

Bill Cosby To Female Fans: Don't Put Your Drink Around Me!

I imagine this was pretty awk-weird...

Bill Cosby's sending out a P.S.A. to his female fans in 2015, and apparently it's not to put your drinks down if you're near him!

Well. Sort of.

While performing his second of three concerts for his North American Tour in Canada Thursday night, the comedian made a bold move by joking about the very serious ongoing sexual assault allegations against him.

According to The National Post, when Cosby noticed a woman leaving the arena during his set he decided to ask her, "Where are you going?" to which the lady replied "To get a drink. Want one?"

The 77-year-old's shocking response? "You have to be careful about drinking around me."

Cricket...

Cricket...

After the crowd processed that Mr. Cosby was simply poking fun at himself and not being serious orrrr was he?, the crowd erupted in loud cheers and applause for the comedian.

Cosby will close out the Canadian leg of his tour Friday night in Hamilton.

Close one Bill. Close one...

R.I.L.: Legendary Gospel Great Andrae Crouch Dies From A Heart Attack!

Heaven may have just gained one of the greatest composers of all time...

It's with a heavy heart and great sadness to report that Gospel musician, Andrae Crouch, has passed away after suffering a heart attack.

The 72-year-old had been hospitalized since Saturday at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles before succumbing to the effects of the attack on Thursday afternoon.

Known for his ability to bridge the gap between gospel and mainstream music, Crouch helped produce and write songs for some of the biggest artists and movies of our time including, Michael Jackson's 'Man In The Mirror',  Madonna's 'Like A Prayer,' and the famous 'God Is Trying To Tell You Something' from the blockbuster movie, 'The Color Purple.'

Throughout the years of his life, Andrae endured many physical hardships overcoming multiple bouts of cancer, suffering from diabetes, and in December combatting pneumonia.

Andrae served alongside his siblings as pastor at the New Christ Memorial Church in San Fernando, California.

This is such sad news. He was definitely an inspiration to so many. Prayers and condolences for his family and loved ones.

Snoop Dogg Sued For Cyber Bullying

Another day another lawsuit.

And next up -- Stepping into the hot seat for the second time in a row (over the course of a few months) for sharing not so flattering pics of people on Instagram is the one and only rap uncle, S-N-Double-O-P - D-O-Double-Ju-zee!

According to TMZ the rap legend is being sued for posting a pic of a guy named Cortez Booze with the caption "Who's auntcle is this?"

The post, initially uploaded as a joke, immediately caught fans attention causing them to go bird on Cortez by calling him every name out of the book including, "she-male" and "punk."

After catching wind of the Cyber attack, Cortez attempted to report the pic to Instagram but...yea. That didn't work. It's still up.

So now Mr. Booze has taken the legal route! Cortez recently lawyered up and plans to  handle the Cyber bullying situation in court.

As mentioned before, this isn't the first time Snoop has been in the media for posting unfavorable images of someone. You'll recall a few months back he was involved in a Twitter beef with raptress Iggy Azalea after posting a pic of her beside Shawn Wayans dressed as the character from the movie "White Chicks"

Hopefully things will work themselves out. Who knows, maybe they can "settle" out of court.

Side note: Is it just me or does the side by side of Snoop and Cortez not look similar? Minus the goatee and arched brows of course. *shrugs*

Phylicia Rashad To Bill Cosby Accusers: Stop Trying To Destroy A Legacy!

And so she speaks! (And quite frankly, I think we've all been waiting to hear from her)...

One of America's favorite TV moms, Phylicia Rashad, has finally decided to speak out on the ever going sexual harassment allegations surrounding her TV husband Bill Cosby, and to sum up in a few short words what all she had to say -- She. Ain't. Going.

In an interview at an event for the civil rights film 'Selma', the 66-year-old Tony award winner opened up to Showbiz 411 about the women who have spoken out against Mr. Cosby, and his legacy.

"Forget these women. What you're seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it's orchestrated. I don't know why or who's doing it, but it's the legacy. And it's a legacy that's so important to the culture."

When Mrs. Huxtable Phylicia was asked about super models, Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson's claims of being drugged by the comedian, she simply had this to say: "Oh please."

Earlier this week Rashad's TV daughter, Keshia Knight Pulliam (Rudy Huxtable), spoke briefly about the Cosby allegations after getting the ax from Donald Trump on 'The Celebrity Apprentice' (Her refusal to hit up her TV dad for cash was the reason for her dismissal).

In an interview with Access Hollywood the actress stated:

"No one was there except for the two people who know exactly what happened...all I can speak to is the man I know and love. The fact that he's been such an example, you can't take away from the great he has done....ultimately they're just that. Allegations"

Bill Cosby is set to take the stage Wednesday night for his North American Comedy tour in Ontario Canada.
So what do guys think? The destruction of a legacy orrrr...
