And so she speaks! (And quite frankly, I think we've all been waiting to hear from her)...
One of America's favorite TV moms, Phylicia Rashad, has finally decided to speak out on the ever going sexual harassment allegations surrounding her TV husband Bill Cosby, and to sum up in a few short words what all she had to say -- She. Ain't. Going.
In an interview at an event for the civil rights film 'Selma', the 66-year-old Tony award winner opened up to Showbiz 411 about the women who have spoken out against Mr. Cosby, and his legacy.
"Forget these women. What you're seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it's orchestrated. I don't know why or who's doing it, but it's the legacy. And it's a legacy that's so important to the culture."
When
Earlier this week Rashad's TV daughter, Keshia Knight Pulliam (Rudy Huxtable), spoke briefly about the Cosby allegations after getting the ax from Donald Trump on 'The Celebrity Apprentice' (Her refusal to hit up her TV dad for cash was the reason for her dismissal).
In an interview with Access Hollywood the actress stated:
"No one was there except for the two people who know exactly what happened...all I can speak to is the man I know and love. The fact that he's been such an example, you can't take away from the great he has done....ultimately they're just that. Allegations"
Bill Cosby is set to take the stage Wednesday night for his North American Comedy tour in Ontario Canada.
