Beyoncé Gives Breakdown On Self-Titled Album Tracks (Video Inside)
I don't think we will ever!! Ever! Eva eva eva eva eva! Get enough of this chick. Nope never.
Beyoncé recently stopped by iTunes to give insight on how each record from her self-titled album came about, and why they were written.
In her interview Mrs. Carter describes the emotions felt from some of the songs while also giving listeners a detailed summary on how visuals and the music were created.
On recapping the anthem and hit song "Bow Down" Beyoncé described the tune as being angry, and for her haters.
"The reason I put out 'Bow Down' is because I woke up, I went into the studio, I had a chant in my head...It was the Beyoncé that was angry. It was the Beyoncé that felt the need to defend herself..."
Her advice to Nay-Sayers who believed the song went against her passion for feminism?
"Just imagine the person who hates you. Imagine a person that doesn't believe in you. And look in the mirror and say bow down b#tch, and I guarantee you will feel gangsta!"
Well...when you put it like thaaaaat, I get your point! I will say that the song is most def on my "get crunk 'cause I know I'm the ish" workout playlist. Heck, I can get up and go to the gym right now with that song! Ok...maybe not right now...but you get my drift.
A-Listers, take a listen to hear the rest of the breakdowns for the album below:
