Kelly Rowland Chats with Arsenio Hall

The beautiful and talented Kelly Rowland sat down with Arsenio Hall Wednesday night to air out her laundry, and it was oh so clean (and quite inspiring!)

Ms. Kelly discussed how the making of her hit single 'Dirty Laundry' came about, and how singer/songwriter The Dream helped make it her own.

"The Dream is one of the most amazing writers I've ever worked with...I'm actually having a conversation with him (in person), and he's putting it in melody form. So just imagine you having a conversation with somebody and they start humming and you like, what are you doing? He's just that incredible."

The songstress called the making of 'Dirty Laundry' a therapy session that took 2 and a half hours to record to capture the song's realness.

The starlet also dished on the importance of personal growth, and the significance of staying on your own path. (Ladies, this is where we listen for good advice! Men too! lol)

"I think it's really important to know that we are not perfect as human beings, and it's really important to know that you have to grow."

"...and don't allow other people to put you on somebody else's level (A-listers this level could be higher or lower! Take heed) and look at what somebody else has and thinking, oh I want that! You should want your own path. I don't want my sister's path, I don't want nobody else's path, I want my own."

And a dang good one she has! A good reminder to us all that it's perfectly okay to succeed at DOING YOU while understanding that EVERYONE has their OWN zone to shine in! I mean hey...we are all A-Listers right? ;)
