Princess Diaries: KeKe Palmer As First Black Cinderella On Broadway

Hear ye, Hear ye! There's a royal announcement to be made!...

Actress/singer Keke Palmer has yet another record breaking accomplishment to add under her belt, and that's becoming the first ever African American to play Cinderella on Broadway!

Earlier today, the talk show host revealed the exciting news to fans on twitter posting:

KeKe also revealed her inspiration to go out for the role stemmed from her memories of the 1950's classic, "Rodgers & Hammersteins" Cinderalla, and also watching the 1997 "Brandy version" (Ya'll know, the one with Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother!).

When speaking to Vanity Fair about her latest achievement the 20-year-old said, "I really don't celebrate, besides I can't believe it's real!"

Palmer also took time from celebrating to give words of encouragement for anyone trying to achieve their dreams posting, "UNDERSTAND ME WHEN I SAY THIS: You can do anything you want to do! Your life is your life & your belief in YOU will make it all it can be! Don't stop at anything, spread LOVE & allow God to guide you, bless you all! Let your light shine my angels!"

KeKe's broadway debut as Cinderella will happen this September.

At the rate she's going she'll have completed everything on her bucket list by the age of 22! Congrats!
