Monday morning, actor Samuel L. Jackson sat down for an interview with KTLA news anchor Sam Rubin; and I think it's safe to say this is one we all may never forget.
During the interview, before discussing Samuel's upcoming flick 'Robocop,' Rubin decided to ask the 'Django' star about his recent Super Bowl commercial, and also about the reaction he received from fans who watched it. There was just one sliiiight problem with this question; Samuel NEVER starred in one!
And this folks, is where things get hilarious.
Samuel, with confused face and all responded, "What Super Bowl commercial?"
Rubin, who was highly embarrassed and very shocked after realizing he had mistaken the 'Pulp Fiction' actor for Matrix star Laurence Fishburne, tried apologizing and moving forward, but the damage had already been done.
Recognizing the mistake, the 65-year-old actor took the opportunity to go all the way in on the KTLA news anchor, and would not let his mistake die quickly.
"You're as crazy as the people on twitter. I'm not Laurence Fishburne!" Jackson continued, "We don't all look alike!"
Continuing on his comedic run, Jackson playfully added, "You're busted. You're the entertainment reporter?! And you don't know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne? There must be a very short line for your job."
Dannng Mr. Sam! You put him on the T.V. wall of shame! LOL
