Madonna's 13-Year-Old Son Parties With Gin And Vodka

Madonna decided to put herself in the hot seat recently by posting an Instagram pic of her 13-year-old son holding a bottle of gin amongst friends.

The singer, who is no stranger to controversy, posted the pic on January 4th with the caption, "The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014"

After fans took notice the floodgates opened with comments from both who did not find the image funny, and from some who didn't think it was that big of a deal.

One fan wrote, "Don't like this pic, sorry. While another one wrote, "Wow Rocco needs new friends Madonna, maybe if you were paying attention you'd see his friends Instagram with all the drinking and smoking pot!!! This is someone you want your 13-year-old hanging out with? Shame."

Fans who came to the Superstars defense posted, "It looks good! Cheers to 2014! If there is anything you can expect from the Queen it's keeping it real! God bless you Madonna" And another, "So I guess when people post photos of their dogs passed out next to a bottle of whiskey that's real too?"

It didn't take long for the 'Like A Virgin' star to take notice and voice her thoughts.

"No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor!" On another instagram she wrote,"Don't start the year off with judgement."

The legal age to drink in the United States is 21 and in Switzerland (which is where they were) is 16.

So A-Listers, what do you think? A prank gone too far or a mother and kids just having a good time?

Me myself personally have jokingly taken pics underage with a wine glass but...not sure that measures up to a bottle of gin and vodka...oh well, to each is own. Her kid, her call eh?
