Just when you thought things couldn't get any crazier; stuff like this happens smh...
A popular video recently made it's rounds on social media regarding a father's relationship with his son. The story you ask? A father who's sentenced to serve time in jail for, get this...being a father!
FOX 26 in Houston reported a man name Clifford Hall will kick off his 2014 by living the life of a convicted criminal. After making it his mission to be present in his 11-year-old son's life, and over paying on child support a judge has sentenced him to a 6 month stay in the clink!
There's got to be more to this story. Like falling behind on child support payments or something right? Nope...Wrong!
Last November Hall's child support payments were paid in full, and he even overpaid by $3,000; a fact that Harris County District Court Judge Lisa Millard found contemptible.
So what's Mr. Hall's biggest concern in all this? "I can't be there for my son. I can't pay child support in jail. This isn't the best interest of the child." (It sure the heck isn't!)
This is SSSS!!! SUPER SHOCKING AND SUPER STOOOPID. We complain so much for father's to be present in their Childs' lives, but when they are something like this can happen? And what does the mother of the child have to say about all this?! So confused.
There's got to be more to this story. I refuse to believe that this is life.
Definitely has to be more and I'm waiting to hear what that is.
